About Dhoom 3:Back in Action 

Dhoom 3: Back in Action  is an upcoming action thriller Hindi film, written and directed by Vijay Krishna Acharya and produced by Aditya Chopra. The film is third installment in the popular Dhoom series. Abhishek Bachchan, Uday Chopra will reprise their original roles, while Aamir Khan will play the negative role and Katrina Kaif will play lead actress. Jackie Shroff will also feature in a cameo appearance in the film.

Cast And Crew

Aamir Khan was signed on to essay the lead role and the antagonist, while Abhishek Bachchan and Uday Chopra will reprise their roles as police officers. Rimi Sen, who played the role of Sweety, the wife of ACP Dixit, was offered to play the role again, which she declined because of her decision to not do any "guest appearances" Katrina Kaif was signed on as the lead heroine, starring opposite Khan. Dhoom 3 will be directed by Vijay Krishna Acharya, replacing Sanjay Gadhvi who directed the two previous films and declined to return to direct the third. Both the lead actors took up special preparations for the roles that they are playing. Two more villainous roles were decided by Director and were to play by Ranveer Singh and Jacqueline Fernandez but the Producer later refused and denied this. Khan reportedly learnt ballet,aerobatics and French technique of parkour, a method of movement focused on moving around obstacles with speed and efficiency, while Kaif took paragliding training and singing lessons. Bachchan reportedly lost nine kilos of weight to prepare for his role in the film.
